Recipe tips
The cottage cheese can be crushed with a fork, too.
1. Grate the apple before starting to prepare the cake. Break the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Mix the orange peel with sugar.

2. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve then mix with butter, powdered sugar, salt and egg yolk. Then add vanilla pudding powder, baking powder, semolina and the grated apple. Squeeze 2 oranges and cut the flesh of the third one in small cubes, then, together with the orange peel, add to the cheese mixture. Finally add the hard beaten egg-whites. Mix well.

3. Put the mixture in a buttered baking pan or round springform pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs, then cook in a preheated oven (200°) for 40 minutes. Let it cool in the oven. You can decorate it with orange pieces.
