1. Choose healthy and ripe fruits. Wash and remove any leaves from the strawberries.

2. In a cooking pot bring them to the boil and then pass through a sieve. Then stir and continue boiling until you get the right texture (for about 4 hours).

3. Only then add the sugar. For each kg of fruit add 600-800 g of sugar according to taste. Boil for another 20-25 minutes.

4. When ready put in clean jars and cover, but don't seal. Seal only the next day when there is a thicker layer of jam on top.

5. For one kg of strawberry we should count about 3 jars. Keep in a cold and dark place.
