Recipe tips
Prepare cookies for at least one and a half baking pans before preheating the oven in order to save energy.
1. Let the yeast rise in lukewarm milk.

2. Mix the flour with the yeast and milk, and add fat, butter, one egg, salt, sugar and oil. Knead well.

3. Cut a larger slice from the dough and mould it into a baguette of a diatemer of 2 cm. Cut the baguette into small slices and roll them into worm-like forms (see the pictures). Braid each piece and then join the two ends to make a ring-shaped cookie.

4. Beat an egg and add paprika, then spread the egg on top of each cookie.

5. Put them in a buttered pan and bake at 150°C for 10-15 minutes, until the top of the cookies is brown.
